Course objectives (in Czech)
Náplní kurzu je úvod do teorie srovnávacích literatur a současně použití jejích metod do praxe. Na příkladech děl a představitelů německé, rakouské a švýcarské literatury se studenti seznámí se studiem literární recepce a naučí se kromě jiného zohledňovat i neliterární aspekty překladatelské praxe. Ve středu pozornosti nicméně zůstává vždy dílo, jeho překlad a ohlasy kritické literární veřejnosti na něj. Na konci tohoto kurzu by studenti měli být schopni zorientovat se v teorii srovnávacích literatur, ale také samostatně vyhledávat podklady ke studiu literární recepce v odborných i masových médiích.

Teaching methods (in Czech)
Seminář využívá metodu výkladu, analýzy a syntézy poznatků. Opírá se oo kolektivní práci, diskusi ve výuce i individuální práci studentů.
