- The main objectives of the course are the following:
making students aware of function of museums;
acquainting students with basic methods of museum work - Syllabus
- History of collecting and museums in Czech Republic and Europe;
- Collecting in museums, aims, collecting plans;
- Thesauruses of museum's objects;
- Documentation of museum's objects, computer programmes Demus, Bach;
- Documentation of contemporary society, SAMDOK;
- Legal system in protection of cultural and natural heritage;
- Museum exhibitions;
- Public relations in museums
