- Course objectives
- First meeting with Bulgarian language, basic lexical items, basic grammar rules. At the end of the course students should be able to understand the basic of Bulgarian language, the course is designed for students of linguistics

- 1.Bulgarian language in the context of the rest Slavonic languages 2. Bulgarian graphic system 3. Basic phonetical characteristics of Bulgarian language 4. Reading comprehension and translation of short texts. System of substantives. 5. Reading comprehension and translation of short texts. System of verbs in Bulgarian. 6. Reading comprehension and translation of short texts. System of Bulgarian temporal system - verbs in present tense. 7. Reading comprehension and translation of short texts.Cases in Bulgarian language. 8. Reading comprehension and translation of short texts. System of Bulgarian pronouns, short and long forms 9. Reading comprehension and translation of short texts. System of Bulgarian infinitive 10. Reading comprehension and translation of short texts. Bulgarian imperative 11. Reading comprehension and translation of short texts. Bulgarian conditional 12. Reading comprehension and translation of short texts. System of Bulgarian prepositions.
