- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to present basics of the publication Human-centered design to students. After successful completion of course, student can: - apply theoretical and practical knowledge of design thinking into process of product or service innovation - use tools and methodology of design thinking - manage a project with respect to design thinking - understand, how team works.
- Syllabus
- Design thinking contains several steps. Students follow each of them:
- I. Empathize - desk research, interview and observing is done here.
- II. Synthesize - personas, empathic maps and point of views are build here.
- III. Ideate - students use brainstorming as creative tool for generating new ideas.
- IV. Prototype - prototype and its evaluation and testing is done during this phase. V. Business modeling - team creates and presents Lean Canvas
- VI. Pitch - students prepare presentation of their work.
- VII. Feedback- students get feedback and learn how to evaluate whole project.
