- Course objectives
- The modern architecture between the world wars belongs to the most important architectural heritage of the city of Brno. During the 20th century the look on modernity changed and quite a few buildings went through very difficult historical and architectural development. After 1989 the modern architecture received official awards and was reflected in many high-quality publications. Yet in recent years, it can not ensure quality conservation protection and destruction of the interwar buildings continues.
- Syllabus
- The content of the seminar Reflection Brno architecture between the world wars will be exploring each architectural object in the field, walk through the city and understanding of urban development, the house working with the available sources and the latest publications include the buildings in the international context and the ultimate reflection of this knowledge in the interaction with the actual buildings and their current status.
