Course objectives (in Czech)
China is already playing an important role in the world. Most current trends indicate that China is likely to play an even more important role over the next decades. China is taking steps to exert more cultural influence on the international stage. The images we have of different people, companies and countries influence the way we act and think, including if we think of them as a dialogue partner or not.

  • Session 1 and 2: China, India and Japan during World War II Session 3 and 4: China's Public Diplomacy and Soft Power Session 5 and 6: China's Foreign Policy and International Outreach since 1989 Session 7 and 8: International Competition between China and Taiwan
