- Course objectives
- The series of lectures focuses on both understanding the basic principles of statics and subsequently the development of different construction techniques in chronological order, depending on respective geographic territories. Emphasis is placed on the development of construction techniques in different areas, focusing also on natural conditions, available materials, and cultural and social factors. Lectures are conducted by experts on various construction techniques, materials and historical development of the construction industry worldwide.

- The course consists of a series of lectures by experts on field of construction technologies and on their historical development. The subject requires students' active approach and their engagement in open discussions during and after the lectures.
