Course objectives
The course will focus on didactic analysis of tools used to develop competencies within DigCompEdu. The goals will be to develop a set of tools that teachers can use in their practice in each part of the model to improve their competences and the quality of their teaching. The student chooses the appropriate area and makes a package of tools, services and procedures for her to be as easy to use as possible for teachers. We will test the resulting product with teachers.

  • Find tools for given topics
  • Analyze didactic possibilities of using individual tools
  • Create tutorials for educators
  • Design curatorial collections of tools and methodologies

  • Syllabus
    • The course will be divided into three parts:
    • DigCompEdu and its individual dimensions, educational practice, the situation in Czech schools, survey overview, basic theoretical grasp. In this section, we will also focus on curatorial methods.
    • Creating collections by dimension, team testing and feedback, working with tools.
    • Evaluation and presentation of the final product to the educator.

    The theoretical discussion session gradually turns into active group or individual student activity.
    Assessment methods
    The duty is to participate with a maximum of three absences. In the end, the student presents a collection of tools and procedures that will focus on a particular area of DigCompEdu. The results will be linked together and shared by the professional community of educators.
