- Course objectives
- The main goal of this course is to provide students with the origin, interdisciplinar connections and historical context of psychological knowledge. The course is focused on influential figures as well as the most important psychological schools and their methodological background.
- Learning outcomes
- After the completion of the course History of Psychology, students will be able to consider the development of psychology leading to the current valid theories in individual psychological systems. They will be able to work with the ideological sources of current concepts of contemporary psychology. They will therefore be able to critically evaluate the links between the current state of knowledge and the historical development of psychology.
