Course objectives
This course introduces research in social sciences and general research logics. The students will learn about different steps and phases of research process - from research topic, research goals, research questions, to research method and sampling. There will be discussed key concepts, issues and risks in distinctive research designs. The students will also learn about several most common research methods, about work with data, analysis of the data and interpretation. Last but not least, students will learn about new research trends regarding to internet and social media.

- Describe differences among distinctive research methods a data analysis

Teaching methods
Lectures, class discussion, reading, group project.
Assessment methods
Group project - research proposal (40 points) and final written test (60 points). Students need to get min. 60 points to pass.
