- Course objectives
- The course will focus on introducing basic concepts, principles and institutions of selected legal branches of public and private law. It will not only deal with legal regulation, but also with practical application.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completing the course, students:
- will understand the basic concepts of legal theory they will encounter in academic texts
- will have a better understanding of the Czech legal order and its relevant regulations
- will acquire a general overview of specific legal branches connected with archival science
- will use the regulations to solve simple legal problems in their discipline - Syllabus
- Fundamentals of legal theory;
- Fundamentals of private law and selected sectors with regard to archival practice (intellectual property law);
- Fundamentals of public law and selected sectors with regard to archival practice (protection of personal data, right to information)
