Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of the course, the student should have finished a substantial part of his diploma thesis and have a clear idea about the following steps and about the conclusions of his work. Students are invited to get inspiration from relevant published scientific works in the field of the thesis (literature, textual criticism, history of language, linguistics...) rather than from old theses written by other students.

Only after getting the zapocet for the Seminar I, students are allowed to attend the Seminar II, which must thus be registered in a later term.
Learning outcomes
Students make progress with their theses in Italian, attend tutorials and they take into account the advices of the tutor.
Syllabus
  • Individual consultations with the supervisor according to the level and state of progress of the diploma thesis.

Assessment methods
Credit upon submitting a substantial part of the diploma thesis. In order to pass the zapocet it is necessary to hand over half of the thesis, or slightly less (i.e. minimum 30 pages / 60000 characters). In order to avoid a rushed delivery of the work, at least 15 pages / 30000 characters must be handed over to the supervisor by the end of the month before the one in which the semester ends. So that, if you wish to pass the zapocet in February you must hand over 15 pages / 30000 characters by the end of January and the rest by the end of the semester; if you wish to pass the zapocet in September you must hand over 15 pages / 30000 characters by the end of July and the rest by the end of the semester.
