Course objectives
Croatian language course focused on broadening of vocabulary, knowledge of grammar and extending language competence in general. At the end of the course students should be able to communicate in Croatian language in standard language situations. Except of the grammar, course focuses on pronunciation and fluent speech. By the end of this course, students will be able to express agreement or disagreement with other participants, both in formal and informal situations.
Learning outcomes
Absolvent will be able to communicate in Croatian at a level correspondent to 120 hours of language course.
Syllabus
  • Broadening of vocabulary and the knowledge of grammar from courses JSBhr210, JSBhr220, JSBhr310, JSBhr320. Spoken and written interaction - translation from Czech to Croatian, phrases, analysis of short stories, conversation. Course focuses on listening and reading abilities.

Teaching methods
Croatian: Seminars, 1½ hours per week, active participation. Home preparation. Conversacion and grammar exercises.
Assessment methods
Conditions for credits: active participation in the lessons (maximum of 3 absences), all homework and home preparation, successfully written test.
