- Cíle předmětu
- The objective of this online course is to develop the specific competences of participants focusing on the field of history of modern and contemporary art. The central point of the course brings attention to building /mastering English-language terminology related to the field, working with sources and literature, as well as deepening students' competencies and skills, both oral and written.
- Výstupy z učení
- The successful participants will be able to articulate main differences between art (in the broadest context) of pre-modern and modern/contemporary periods; as well as between the modern art of the Czech lands and international, i.e. Western-world space. (S)he will be able to relate essential artistic programs/movements and artistic personalities into relevant social and cultural context. (S)he will be able to independently define, research, interpret and present an art work, artist or an individual problem on some aspect of modern / contemporary art.
