Course objectives
The aim of the seminar is to deepen the students’ knowledge in operating a PC in the Windows operating system, especially the creation of databases. Computer users first learn the theoretical foundations of computer support in archaeology. During teaching, emphasis is placed on practicing the acquired knowledge, on independent work with a computer exceeding the prescribed number of hours, which leads to gaining the necessary confidence in operating a PC. Basic knowledge of working with a computer from secondary school is assumed.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- create and administer a database
- perform basic statistical analyses
