- Course objectives
- Doctoral students write a critical review of a new published book, relating to the topic of their research field or their doctoral thesis. About the topic of the book to be reviewed and the journal where it could be published will be consulted withthe supervisor.
- Learning outcomes
- The students will learn about the latest research in their field and acquire the ability to think critically and to evaluate scientific work.
- Syllabus
- On the basis of reading an scholarly book and related secondary literature, students prepare text of the review. They consult the selection of the book and their partial results with the supervisor. The review must be accepted for publication in a scholarly journal.

- Literatura je předepsána individuálně podle tématu práce.

- The course is taught in form of individual sessions with the supervisor.

- In order to gain credits, students have to prepare the review, which must be accepted for publication in a scholarly journal.
