- Course objectives
- Individual consultation with the supervisor according to the needs of the student and presentation of the research results in a public colloquium regarding the level and progress of the thesis. The aim of thesis is to solve a specific professional problem in accordance to the type of study. Student must demonstrate the ability to work independently, master the relevant literature and analyse the study material.

- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - work with theory and methodology and produce an academic text
- Syllabus
- The aim of the diploma seminar is to help students complete their diploma thesis and prepare for a successful defence. The progress in the preparation of the thesis, participation in consultations, meeting the deadline for the submission of the thesis form for the presentation and the presentation itself are classified in a given semester with a grade of credited or uncredited.

- Teaching methods
- Theoretical preparation, consultation with the thesis supervisor, submission of the thesis form no later than 14 days before the first colloquium to the homework vaults (see Course materials), presentation of the current research results in the colloquium supplemented by a powerpoint. Oral presentation at the seminar is compulsory for all students enrolled in the course. Absence is accepted only in case of illness and on the basis of a written excuse from doctor entered into the IS MU. Students who do not attend the seminar in the semester due to illness will be required to appear at an alternative date announced in the period of exams.
- Assessment methods
- The thesis supervisor awards credits based on the degree of elaboration of the thesis, the course of consultations with the student, the submission of the thesis form and the results of the presentation of his/her research at the public seminar. Failure to meet any of the conditions will result in a negative grade of "not credited".
