- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to give the basic characteristics of quantitative linguistics. The general background will be introduced and it will be illustrated how quantitative approaches can be used in linguistics.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be introduced to the theoretical foundations and methodology of quantitative linguistics. They will learn the basics of quantitative analysis of language and its interpretation.
