Course objectives
In the course "Vietnamese Community in the Czech Republic," we will explore interesting aspects of the life of the Vietnamese community, both in the present and against the backdrop of events from past decades. We will think and discuss together about Vietnamese cultural customs, the influence of the Czech cultural environment on the culture and language of Vietnamese speakers, and the changes in Vietnamese society over time. The aim of the course is to gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the life of the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic, based on practical experiences and opportunities for practical application in your field.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, the student will be able to: - Address specific situations with Vietnamese speakers with understanding. - Identify the unique aspects of Vietnamese culture in the Czech Republic. - Engage in informed discussions about the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic.

Teaching methods
Lectures, group discussions, self-study, Vietnamese studies activity, final presentation on individual or group activity.
Assessment methods
