- Course objectives
- The aim of the Bachelor's state examination is to prove whether a student have reached learning outcomes of the study programme Social Education and Counselling as prescribed by their study plan.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion of the studies, the graduate is capable of:
1) Describing the basic state of knowledge in educational sciences and related fields.
2) Interpreting selected theories of social pedagogy, social work, and counseling work.
3) Contributing to the management of educational, preventive, and developmental activities in various types of institutions/social environments, while acting in accordance with applicable legislation.
4) Participating in socialization and resocialization activities in various types of institutions/social environments, while acting in accordance with applicable legislation.
5) Respecting the age, individual, and other specific characteristics of clients in direct pedagogical and social work.
6) Integrating basic principles of counseling work in direct pedagogical and social work and reflecting on principles of professional ethics.
7) Organizing activities and programs during leisure time and creating individual development projects for various target groups.
8) Reflecting on their professional development and the limits of their professionalism.
9) Proposing a research project and justifying the choice of methodological approach.
10) Implementing the proposed empirical study, processing and analyzing data.
11) Interpreting the obtained findings. - Syllabus
- The oral part of the exam is conducted according to question areas, which are structured into three parts:
- I. Educational sciences and their methodology;
- II. Social pedagogy and social work;
- III. Social policy and counseling services.

- Oral exam, defence of Bachelor's thesis in the case of one field (completus) or major study plan.
