Course objectives
To learn various tools in Excel, especially those facilitating a handling with data.
The course does not cover topics of statistical analyses of data.
Learning outcomes
Student will learn:
- to arrange data to R-software format;
- to import data from other data-formats (e.g. txt);
- useful keyboard shortcuts;
- to insert formulas;
- conditional formatting;
- to create pivot tables;
- to create and modify graphs;
- and maybe more :)

Teaching methods
Practicing the skills on real datasets from biology. The course takes place in the computer classroom in Bohunice kampus.
Assessment methods
To perform required skills on new data table, for example to arrange data table, to insert formulas, to create pivot tables and to create graph.
