- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to enhance students' awareness of the topics addressed within the discipline, expand students' laboratory skills portfolio and promote teamwork. As part of this course, students complete an internship with a colleague who is working on a thesis on a different topic within a different research group. Students will get to know practically other professional issues dealt with in the field of Environmental Health Sciences. The students will present the course of their internship and the topic they are working on.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - interpret in a presentation (10 - 15 min) the concept of a research topic in the field of Environment and Health, which was the focus of the internship. - describe the principle of the laboratory methods used during the internship
- Syllabus
- Internship in the laboratory of a research group working on a topic in Environmental Health Sciences.
- Teaching methods
- Internship in another laboratory.
- Assessment methods
- Upon completion of the 3-week internship, confirmed by the research group leader, the student prepares a presentation of a maximum of 10 slides on the research topic, on the basis of which the student is awarded or not awarded credit.

- The student can also complete a 3-week internship at a foreign workplace.
