Course objectives
The course is devoted mainly to students of teacher subjects Biology and Geography. Its aims are: a) to present the principles of the geological field work, b)to present them the geology of the Brno surroundings (including important mineralogical and paleontological localities).
Syllabus
  • Field trips in Brno and surroundings (mineralogy, petrography, geology,paleontology. 3 days in Brno (Královo Pole, Červený kopec, Stránská skála, Černovice, Hády) and 2 days in the Brno surroundings (Moravian Karst, Oslavany and surroundings, Nedvědice and surroundings).
