Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide the student with the individual stages of the creation and presentation of the bachelor thesis.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
to create a timetable for the bachelor work ;
write an abstract ;
write a bachelor thesis under the rules of scientific writing ;
properly cite bibliography ;
create a presentation for the defense.

  • 1. Introduction - what, how and why to prepare, process, write and defend
  • 2. literature - citations, bibliography
  • 3. Structure of the thesis - chapters, supplements, mandatory pages
  • 4. Text editing - structural and substantive editing, linguistic, formal (style)
  • 5. Graphical and tabular annex of bachelor thesis
  • 6. Abstract - principles, use
  • 7. Bachelor thesis defense - preparing a presentation (powerpoint, prezi), the course of the defense
  • 8. Presentation rehearsal
