- Definition, division into groups, common properties, application areas. Electrochemical sensors: potentiometric sensors (ISE, CHEMFETs, high temperature gas sensors), amperometric sensors, chemically modified electrodes. Conductometric sensors. Optical sensors. Mass sensors. Thermal sensors.

- 1.Definition,division into groups, common properties, application areas.2.-5. Electrochemical sensors: Potentiometric sensors (ISE,division, construction, basic properties, theory of the potential origin and selectivity, response time, drift,life time. Liquid membranes. Solid-state membranes. Coated wire. Gas-sensing and enzyme electrodes. Microelectrodes.).High temperature gas sensors. 6.-8. CHEMFETs: ISFET, GASFET, ENFET. 9.-10.Amperometric sensors:Clark oxygen electrode, enzyme electrodes. 11.Chemically modified electrodes.Figaro-sensors. Chemiresistors. 12-13.Optical sensors:Optical fibers,ionic sensors, gas sensors, biosensors, special sensors. 14.Thermal and catalytic gas sensors. Mass sensors: Piezoelectric sensors, suface acoustic wave sensors.
