Cílem výuky je prakticky ověřit získané poznatky a dovednosti v terénu, připravit studenty pro řešení praktických úloh, podporovat týmovou i individuální činnost, prezentovat zjištěné poznatky na minikonferenci, vypracovat závěrečnou situační zprávu.
