- Course objectives
- Main objective of the seminar is to enhance students' knowledge and understanding of broader perspectives of exotoxicology. Partial objectives are: 1) to present interesting problems to students from area of ecotoxicology and environmental chemistry, 2) to introduce experts in this area to students, 3) to introduce ecotoxicology applications from praxis, 4) to give an opportunity to students to present their work, 5) to initialize scientific discussion on the topics presented.
At seminars, students learn how to:
- promptly understand and discuss new problematics
- formulate good questions
- combine new information
- evaluate, interpret, explain, present and discuss their own results
- debate presented topic - Syllabus
- Program of the seminars is different each term. Generally, it consists from lectures of internal and external experts and from presentations of master or gostgraduate students.
- In spring term, there are three groups of students presentations:
- - V. grade diploma work progress at the beginning of the term
- - III. grade PhD research results of three past years
- - IV. grade first results of diploma work at the end of the term
