- Course objectives
- Course is focused on the work with medicaly important fungal cultures. Attention is paid to methods of isolation, cultivation and identification fungi, preservation of strains. At the end of the course students should be able to: independently work with mould in microbiological laboratory
- Syllabus
- Structure of the fungal thallus, microscopic examination of specimens, germ-tube test, cultivation and determination of micromycetes, growth and morphology changes at various sources and substrates, fermentation and assimilation of carbon compounds, chromogenic methods for rapid identification , mycotoxins of microscopic fungi, demonstration of the most frequent species.
