Course objectives
The course is devoted to students of magisterial study of the subject Geology. It follows the main goal to present the general and special questions of taphonomy and the methods of taphonomical research on the advanced university level.
Syllabus
  • Taphonomy: division, research subject & Biostratinomy - general characteristic & Biostratinomy of soft parts & Biostratinomy of hard parts & Origin of main types of thanatocoenoses & Praktical applications of biostratinomy & Diagenesis - general characteristic & Origin of natural casts & Origin of internal and external moulds & Deformation of fossils & Migration of substances, recrystallization & Origin of concretions & Practical application of diagenesis & Outline of references concerning taphonomy
