Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: understand basic principles in Inorganic chemisty and be able to exlain it.
Syllabus
  • 1. Periodic table, s-, p-, d- a f- elements, symbols, enganging to group and period, simple nomenclature.
  • 2. Electron configuration of all elements, except f-block, electron structural equations, oxidation degrees, nomenclature.
  • 3. Equations, VSEPR.
  • 4.-14. Single group of elements.

Teaching methods
Training in the form of discussion between teacher and the students, which is connected with elucidation of generally valid patterns and context in the discussed topics.
Assessment methods
100 % partipitions in exercises, 50 % points from tests. Seminary ends with credit.
