- Basic knowledge of OS Windows 98/2000; advantages are working skills with image and tet editors (Photoshop, GIMP, PSPad)

- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The course is aimed at introduction to the problematics of creation and publication of WWW documents, with the focus on presentation of chemical data, both stationary and dynamical, powered by JavaScript. Students should also learn basics of the Macromedia Flash necessary for creating animations and more complex presentations.
- Syllabus
- HTTP basic information about the protocol HTML 1. basic compositon of documents, declarations, links, metatags 2. block and inline elements, pictures 3. advanced constructions: tables, lists, forms 4. multimedial objects in documents, applets with the focus on visualisation of chemical phenomena 5. frames, navigation, foramtting: CSS cascade style sheets 6. object model of document (DOM) 7. basics of JavaScript Macromedia Flash 1. basics of work with the program 2. creation and inport of objects, symbols, symbol libraries 3. interactivity: buttons, navigation in the timeline, basics of ActionScript
