Course objectives
The aim of the practise is to familiarize students with the basic morphological characteristics of parasitic arthropods. At the end of the practise the student will be able to identify representatives of selected groups of parasitic arthropods.
Syllabus
  • 1-7. Morphology and classification of groups of parasitic arthropods (microscopic preparations). Determination of groups of parasitic arthropods. 8-9. Anatomy of hematophagous arthropods – dissections. 10-11. Histology and ultrastructure of hematophagous arthropods histology and electron microscopy.
