Course objectives
At the end of the course student should be able to understand main notions and selected theories of personality. The aim of the course is to present to students basic psychological terminology and topics of the Psychology of personality.
Syllabus
  • The aims and the subject of psychology of personality (development, structure, dynamics of personality, diagnostics, prognostics and transformation of personality. Description of personality. System of personality. Models. Factorial analysis. Typologies (Eysenck, Cattell). Diagnostics of personality. Big 5. Selected typologies of personality. Risks of typologies. Self in psychology. Selfawareness, selfconcept, selfimage. Development of personality, personal development. Theories of personality - Adler, Frankl, Fromm, Horney, Loevinger, Rogers, Erikson, etc.
