The knowledge on the level of MSc. studies of the geographical cartography, geoinformatics and remote sensing. The awareness about activities of EU, global spatial projects and U.N.

Course objectives
The lecture concentrates for the questions of the design and usage of the spatial information infrastructures. The conceptual, technological, content, legislation, political, economical, safety and ethical aspects are observed. Particular interest is devoted to the situation in EU (E-ESDI), global scale and CR (NGII CR). The research agenda of the creation of the NSDI in the conditions of the small countries is searched (portals, information infrastructures).
