- Course objectives
- This course is mainly dedicated to future secondary school teachers and it gives the examples of physical applications that can be used directly in secondary school physics education. At the end of the course students will have a knowledge of the application of physical laws in a usual and well known apparatuses.

- 1. Analogue and digital sound recording. 2. Magnetic tape sound, video and data recorders. 3. CD player. 4. Ultrasound in medicine and industry. 5. Colour television. 6. LCD display 7. Plasma display 8. Xerox 9. Microwave oven

- Colloquium. Oral discussion in small group: two or three students and teacher. The teacher makes the classification according to correctness and perfection of the answers of an individual student.
