- Course objectives
- The aim of the lecture is to obtain knowledge of basics of the statistical physics and ability to apply statistical physics to basics physical problems.
- Syllabus (in Czech)
- 1. Mikrokanonické rozdělení 2. Kanonické rozdělení a aplikace: Maxwellovo-Boltzmannovo rozdělení rychlostí, ideální plyn, Boltzmannův neideální plyn, záření černého tělesa. 3. Grandkanonické rozdělení a aplikace: Boseho-Einsteinův plyn, Fermiho-Dirackův plyn a nízkoteplotní a vysokoteplotní limity 4. Matice hustoty 5. Boltzmannova rovnice a její aplikace

- Lectures, tutorials, and homework.
- Assessment methods
- The teaching takes place in the form of lectures. The student has to solve three sets of problems. The final course requirements are the written and oral exam.
