Course objectives
Students will learn the history, principles and applications of cartographic modelling and map algebra methods.
Learning outcomes
Graduates of this lesson will be able to: define and classify cartographic modelling methods; understand map algebra. network analysis, and other thematic GIS analysis principles; apply the aforementioned methods in ArcGIS and Open Source environment; suggest an appropriate method for a particular application and justify its use.
