Prerequisites
Basic understanding of General Relativity and Theorie of Fields.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
This course will present current picture of the evolution of Universe based on General Relativity and Standard Model of Particle Physics. The main goal of this Course is to give student clear and detailed description of the current status of Cosmology and its importance in current theoretical physics.
Learning outcomes
A working knowledge of the modern theory of cosmology from its birth to the current era and the important effects during its development.

  • 1) The Homogeneous isotropic universe and the Friedmann equations 2) The redshift, Hubble's law and the Luminosity-redshift relation 3) The Early universe, Nucleosynthesis, Recombination 4) Inflation, Primordial inhomogeneities 5) The Cosmic microwave background anisotropies 6) Determining the cosmic parameters 7) Primordial Gravitational waves
