- To acquaint students with clay minerals as important minerals of weathering and sedimentary processes.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course there will be students - know the basic clay minerals and methods of their determination - able to interpret data on clay minerals

- 1. Definition of clay minerals. 2. Systematic mineralogy of clay minerals. 3. Methods of study. 4. Origin and importance of clay minerals. 5. Examples of clay mineral research.
