Course objectives
The physical model of reality and its adequacy, evolution of physics and its basic conceptions, space and time in classical and relativistic physics, distances and structures, interactions. Equations of motion and conservation laws in mechanics of particles, continuum mechanics and in relativistic and quantum physics, description of physical phenomena in various reference systems, thermodynamic and statistical methods. The role of experiment in construction and verification of physical theories, experiment and measurement, measurement methods, precision and correctness of measurement, data processing, systems of units.
