- The subject gives the instruction how to use mineralogical, chemical and petrografic methods at the study of stone and ceramic artefacts.
- Syllabus
- 1. Descriptive part: macroscopic and microscopic photodocumentation and digital image processing - comparing analyses 2. Experiment in petroarcheology
- 3. Laboratory research: a. Optical methods b. X-ray methods c. DTA d. Electron microscopy and microanalysis
- 4. Practical part: a. Study of stone artefacts (quern-stones, blades, stone points, etc.) i. Igneous and metamorphic
