- Course objectives
- The aim of lectures is the introduction os dtudents of biochemistry in biology. The main aim of these lectures is to prepare for to students basic knowledges of biology, hitology, cytology and zoology that is necessary for their next learning.
- Syllabus
- 1. Cell, cell theory, prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell, plant and animal cell, cell structures and their functions: cell wall, cytoplasmatic membrane, membrane transport. 2. Cell structures and their functions: endoplasmatic reticulum, Golgiho complex, lysosomes, peroxisomes, vacuoles, mitochondria, chloroplast, cytoskeleton. 3. Cell nucleus, DNA, cell cycle, mitosis and meiosis, replication, transcription, translation, signal transduction, regulation of expression. 4. Viruses, their system, characteristics and structure. 5. Protozoa and fungi, their system, characteristics and structure. 6. Bacteria, their system, characteristics and structure. 7. Plants, their system, characteristics and structure. 8. Animals, their system, characteristics and structure. 9. Animal tissues. 10. Animal organs and organ systems I. 11. Animal organs and organ systems II.
