- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The aim of the lecture "Mechanical Properties of Solids" is a introduction to basic problems of material physics and basic technological processes of material engineering. Part of the lecture is focused on perspective materials. The lecture is destined either for students of physics, or for students of other branches. Students should know definitions of basic materials characteristics and techniques for their measurement. He should know physical mechanisms which determines or influences these characteristics. He should know about types of materials and their typical applications.
