- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to prepare students for the teaching of the optional educational activity Geography Seminar at secondary schools. It also includes other activities necessary to equip a Geography teacher - the management of Geography collections, management of a subject department, preparation and management of Geography fieldwork, preparation and organization of the school round of the Geography Olympiad.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to: - select appropriate topics and compile a thematic plan for teaching optional educational activity Geography Seminar at secondary schools - use different methods in teaching more complex topics - set, guide and assess the seminar paper - prepare and guide fieldwork lessons - organize and prepare the school round of the Geography Olympiad - participate in the management of a Geography collection and the running of a subject department
