This course is useful especially for students of parasitology, which will learn additional facts about parasite – host interactions. Attendants of the course should have basic knowledge of immunology from the past.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to: - to explain immune response against parasite infections
- to describe and explain the relationship between the life cycle of parasite and immune mechanisms of the host
- identify and describe the immunopathology of parasitic infections
- to discuss the development of vaccines against parasites.
