Course objectives
THe main objectives of the course are acquainting students with the basics of GR, provide necessary mathematical methods and discuss the applications in modern cosmology.
Learning outcomes
After taking the course the student will:
- understand the basics of relativistic physics formulated geometrically;
- be familiar with the basic notions of differential geometry and be able to apply them;
- understand and be able to work with the geodesic equation;
- understand and be able to work with Einstein's equation;
- understand the basics of Black Holes;
- understand the basics of modern relativistic cosmology;
- understand the basics of Gravitational waves;
