- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic technologies that influence the environment, as well as with selected instruments of environmental protection.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
- understand the environmental impact of anthropogenic technologies
- describe the main types of technologies which affect the environment
- understand the main technological principles for the providing of clean air, water treatment and purification
- characterize and discuss the principles of the best available techniques and best environmental practices and also to the disposal of the persistent substances and waste with their contents
- know the methods applicable for the remediation of contaminated soils and sediments - Syllabus
