Antiquities for children

LLL programme specification

The programme is designed for school-age children and aims to introduce participants to ancient history and culture and their heritage for our contemporary society in a non-violent way. The selection of specific topics in this area is made at the level of the individual curriculum. Activities with experimental, game and experiential elements are used in the teaching.

Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will be able to:

• describe in their own words the discussed phenomena of ancient history and culture,

• identify their parallels in contemporary culture and compare them,

• apply the acquired knowledge in solving practical tasks.

Achievement of the outcome is verified continuously during the course on the basis of the performance of assigned practical tasks.
