Already during studies, the university and the city of Brno offer our students plenty of incentives to develop their own interests, such as volunteering, commercial practice, self-development courses, physical and cultural activities, etc.
Experience shows us that many anthropologists subsequently combine their career with their hobby or interest. Often the one they already developed during their studies. You can find graduates of Brno's Social Anthropology among the leaders and field workers of non-profit organizations such as IQ Roma service or Člověk v tísni, or among the editors of culturally focused magazines and publications. Others teach a wide variety of socially relevant topics, work as advisers to private companies for their foreign development, teach at universities, work in science and write books, or grow wine and produce local food.
