Course objectives
The main goal of the course is to develop deaf and hard of hearing students' communication competence in English at their respective proficiency levels.
Syllabus
  • The course does not have a fixed syllabus - the topics are chosen by the teacher according to the individual needs of the student upon mutual agreement.
Teaching methods
individual work and pair-work activities, e-learning, homework assignments, games
Assessment methods
To successfully complete the course it is necessary to: - attend the classes (80 % class attendance) - any potential absence must be properly excused;
- submit assignments and do the home preparation;
- sit for the end-of-course test (pass = 60% of the total number of points).
